In the TED talk “If I Had a Daughter” by Sarah Kay she talks
about the beauty of speak poetry, and how you can express yourself and connect
with others by sharing your stories. She used many different styles of speaking
throughout her talk, he tells lots of stories that cause the listener to want
to listen along with explaining how she teaches others. She moves around on the
stage causing her to look interesting to the eye, along with making hand
jesters allowing you to visualize exactly what she’s talking about. During the
stories that she told she really emphasized how your never really alone, all
you have to do it put your self out there. You going to get some bad stuff but
that’s what makes you recognize that what you have is just so special.
