In the TED talk “If I Had a Daughter” by Sarah Kay she talks about the beauty of speak poetry, and how you can express yourself and connect with others by sharing your stories. She used many different styles of speaking throughout her talk, he tells lots of stories that cause the listener to want to listen along with explaining how she teaches others. She moves around on the stage causing her to look interesting to the eye, along with making hand jesters allowing you to visualize exactly what she’s talking about. During the stories that she told she really emphasized how your never really alone, all you have to do it put your self out there. You going to get some bad stuff but that’s what makes you recognize that what you have is just so special.
